Index is a fragrance house based in London. With our installation, you can speak and share a memory and watch as it transforms and dispenses your unique fragrance, in real time.

As you share your story, the installation engages in a conversation with you, asking questions to dive you deeper into your memory to help you uncover the hidden details, the emotions, the people you were with and guide you through an introspective journey.

Every memory fragrance is uniquely made before your eyes, shaped by the story you tell, and uniquely yours. With over 200,000 possible combinations, every memory opens up new possibilities.

Index grew out of Emotional Alchemy, an art installation created by Tigris Li in 2024. Co-founded by Tigris and perfumer Isabella Smith in 2025, Index launched in September 2026.
